John R. Ricci, D.M.D.

Dr. John Ricci graduated Johnston High in 1976, and enrolled in Providence College as a biology major. There he gained entrance into several honor societies, including Alpha Epsilon Delta, the pre-professional honor society. In 1980, he graduated from PC with cum laude latin honors. Inspired by his uncle, Dr. Lino Tiberi of Attleboro, Dr. John became the second dentist in his family. He obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Ricci has served on the faculty at Tufts University as a Clinical Instructor of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry.
Dr. John is a proud Italian American, Roman Catholic, who was the first member of his family to graduate from college. He believes strongly in providing patients with the highest caliber of care, and always performing procedures, "as if it is a family member in the chair". Dr. John enjoys telling stories, sharing a good laugh, especially every Sunday with a healthy serving of pasta, around the dinner table with family and friends. He and his wife Janet, love spending time with both of their children, Christina and Eric, and absolutely adore their grandchildren, Grace & Benjamin. The couple has four dogs: Baxter, Dash, Nando, and Angel!
